As for the “public humiliation” pictured above, I sometimes do it in the street of Tokyo,
though the women whose shoes I kissed hadn’t crop on their hand in the public.
It seemed that Passers-by didn’t mind to see a man kissing a shoe of a woman.
People in big cities are oblivious to others, as you know.
By the way, the act depicted in the picture is not “public humiliation” to me.
It is an act of “public worship”.

I think ‘public worship’ is a beautiful way to put it. I’m not sure I could ever do it in public, but I think it’s a great thing to do for those that can.
