Mistress Servalan recently posed a question I never expected to see from a pro-domme: Do I look too good in this shot?
The crux of the issue was truth in advertising. Should she pick the absolutely best shot of herself in the expectation it’ll attract more clients? Or should she pick more average shots in order to set realistic expectations for when people meet her in the less than perfect reality that exists outside the photographers studio?
The question itself struck me as a mildly interesting one. But I was even more interested it what it said about the person asking it. In a marketplace where stolen photographs and heavy photoshopping is common, here’s someone who is concerned she might appear dishonest by posting a genuine unedited photograph. That’s the kind of person I’d feel safe in entrusting with my physical welfare in intense situations (if only I lived somewhere vaguely close to Sidney, Australia).
Of course, after all this build up, I feel posting the image in question is only fair. My personal opinion is that yes, she does look absolutely fabulous, but it’s perfectly fair to post it on her site. Any idiot who’d walk away from a session with her is probably someone she can do without.
That is such a nice picture of her. I always enjoyed chatting with her on maxfisch. She seems like a very nice person. Very down to earth.
Some individuals aren’t photogenic & look better in person. And cameras do not duplicate what the eyes do. Furthermore I can’t see how anyone would be disappointed upon meeting Her. Finally the most important thing is how good a Domme is not that She fulfills some visual fantasy.
