Curved cage

This looks like a particularly entertaining design for a cage. It’s pretty cramped but, from a casual inspection, it would appear to rotate, pivot and be movable. The design is nifty, but it would be a hard thing to explain to a visiting relative. Traditional square cages can at least be attributed to holding a dog. It reminds me a little of this artwork, which is described as a parrot cage, so perhaps you could just say you had an enormous bird that escaped. Or maybe that you’re building a giant globe and haven’t got around to adding the continents just yet.

Curved Cage

I found this on the Geek Domme tumblr. I’m afraid I don’t have an original attribution.

  1. Weird…I wonder where the found that cage? It’s very unique…

Maybe you could put a big potted plant inside of it when entertaining guests…? Or a bunch of hardback books and say it’s “for storage”?

Worst comes to worst: put it in the corner and cover it with a drape.

One time when I was in my early 20s my mother came over to my apartment and noticed a box full of rope in my closet (I’d left the box open). She asked me what it was for, and i could not, for the life of me, fabricate a likely story. I said that I bought the entire box at a garage sale for $5 “just in case I needed some rope. It was a bargain!”

    1. Well at least it was rope. There’s a small but finite chance that you were planning to use it for valid non-kinky purposes. Whips, floggers and leather cuffs would have been trickier! Or, even worse a scenario, she might have asked to borrow some of your rope 🙂

    1. Well modern barbeque design is getting a lot fancier these days. Maybe claim it was the latest type of charcoal grill, and just missing a few bits for the grill part!

  2. Having been in a somewhat similar cage made by Sonny Black, hoisted to the ceiling in an atrium room by an elecric winch, and left to look down from above on her daily life, I can affirm the power of a small spherical cage. What I thought was going to be a fun hour of being in her presence as she answered the phone, planned a forthcoming trip and prepared for her next session became absolute torture as she ignored me.

There are no comfortable positions inside that sphere.

    Peace,
    Pat

    1. I can believe there are no comfortable positions in that sphere. Just looking at it makes my back and legs twinge.

Nice story however! Thanks for sharing.
