The submissive should ideally be brought in by a pair of helpful assistants using one of those Hannibal Lecter vertical wheeled trolleys. Unable to either escape or avoid seeing what’s about to happen to him.
I’ve often thought that entrances to scenes are an underdeveloped part of kinky play. There might be some leashing, or pulling by a body part or CFNM dynamic, but that’s about it for most scenes. The problem with doing something dramatic – like being delivered in a dog crate or bound on a hospital trolley – is you need a big space and multiple dommes. To really make it work you’d need a packing scene to happen with one domme – turning the submissive from a person to an experimental object – and then a delivery to another domme in a different location for the pain and torment. Ideally with a period of waiting and watching in between to heighten the tension and emphasis the sense of objectification.
It’s hard to see how to make that kind of opening act work in most playspaces I’ve seen in the US. Maybe if I get chance to ever play somewhere like Studio Avalon, with its extensive facilities and large team of dommes, it’d be an idea to try.
Ah yes, this was my introduction to my first session. I was met by an assistant who told me the domina was arrive when she was ready. The assistant was dressed in street clothes. She sat behind a large desk and asked several questions, filling out a form on a clipboard. We completed our business.
She asked me to undress and put my clothes in a nearby basket as if this was an everyday occurrence in this office. She asked me to pick up the basket and follow her. We entered an large adjoining room with many pieces of dungeon furniture, equipment and toys neatly arranged. I was asked to put my basket in the corner and to kneel in the center of the room. She explained the position: knees apart, head touching the floor, hands flat on the floor in front of my head.
She said,”Stay there until Mistress directs you otherwise. Be silent!”
Wow. That’s a pretty intense start to a first session. At least you were never left in any doubt what to do at each stage I guess!
I think the only place I’ve had to deal with an assistant first was when playing with Isabella Sinclaire. I think the junior dommes she mentors act as dungeon managers as well. Always a little odd to mentally shift gears between interacting with them and interacting with the mistress.
