I have to admit to being very conflicted on social media. It’s ability to spread lies and poison is undoubtedly high, but at the same time, it does enable me to discover amazing people. As an example, I give you Mistress Stephanie Locke.
I first encountered Mistress Locke via a series of black and white images posted on usenet back in the 90’s. I had absolutely no idea who was in the images, but I remember being transfixed by them. I thought they were the hottest thing I’d ever seen, but I couldn’t understand why I reacted as strongly as I did. It was only later that I realized I was reacting to the realism in the shots. Most femdom and kink shots at the time looked horribly staged and featured bored models. There were lots of floggers being waved towards the camera by people who looked desperate to escape their boots and corsets. In contrast, the shots with Stephanie Locke seemed to feature people who were genuinely interested in who they were beating and why.* It amazes me that today I can read the thoughts and tweets of a domme who seemed like a mythical figure to the young paltego.
Sadly I don’t have a copy of the original usenet series of images that first caught my eye. The image below looks like it’s from a few years later on. I just wish I was at DomCon in LA to pay my respects in person. I love this selfie she posted with a crop on the bathroom counter.
* It’s also possible that the fact that I have a thing for dommes in glasses also played a role here.
Usenet. Oh, man, does that bring back some memories.
I know. Old school. I just wish I could find the old image set that I had of Stephanie. I think somewhere on a shelf in the UK is a CD I burnt that has it on. Not sure I want to ask my Mom to go hunt through the boxes I left in her garage for it however :-).

Hello. I would like to thank you for your quick response about a blog written about Mistress Stephanie Lock. She became very concerned about my very detailed description of one of her earlier films. Upon my request, you erased the blog. There is one more blog thats dated February 28 that I wrote about the film. I have some concerns as well. Again out of respect for her and my admiration for her, I would like the blog dated 02/28/19 erased as well. She may be concerned about this as well. She stated that only Ed Lee and mabe a thousand others know of this film. With the world of bondage and corporal punishment being so explicit, I am a little puzzled over why she doesn’t want this described as so. But we all love and admire her and the lady she worked with. So if you please do me this last favor and erase the blog dated 02/28/19. This also may be too explicitly descriptive.
Thank You
Edward Lindsey
Please return and honor my request of removimg my blog about mistress stephanie lock on February 28. Also my teasons why on July 3rd 2019.
Thank you
Edward Lindsey
Paltego. Again I would like to thank you for honoring my request in the past for removing my blog for February 28, of this year concerning Mistress Lock. I have one more request and that is the removal of all blogs of Edward Lindsey about Ms. Lock, including this statement as well. My only concern is for a very fine lady and one of the greatest Mistress ever.
Thank you
Edward
After viewing photo’s of mistress Stephanie I now remember her pictures from long past, 70’s and 80’s. A true veteran of the bondage era. I was suprised to ser her still active today. She recently appeared on Ginnerys Kinky adventures on clips 4 sale.
Dear Femdom-Resource.com, Greetings, Mistress Stephanie Locke here. First of all, thank you for your beautiful tribute. I feel that you understand How/Why I pos ed in my portraits. My goal, at all times was to look into the camera and out the page to YOU. To tell you what you needed to know by looking into my ( bespectacled) eyes. Speaking of spectacles, I the first woman ever published in a fetish magazine wearing glasses… That was quite a battle, thanks for appreciating the results.
I’ve starred in over 70 films, been in no doubt hundreds of magazines by now… And generally speaking, with very rare exceptions, I’m Mistress Stephanie Locke on film. I always knew I was going to be a great mistress, and I decided that in 1972 at age 9 when I read Scream My Darling Scream by Angela Pearson. I entered my first dungeon at 17, and owned my own establishment by my 21st birthday in 1983… All my earliest photos were taken in 1983 and I really didn’t hit the first magazines till ’84 when, of course, I was everywhere about an hour later. That’s why, to your reader Edward Lindsay I say ” Thank you for remembering Kyrie and I, she took a much harder beating and biting than you may have realized. Kyrie was a true masochistic and we were filming for Nu-West…and all her responses were real.” That said, you couldn’t have seen me in the 70’s, I got to Hollywood in the summer of 1980.
I’ve made it a point of pride to have very pure intentions at all times. I seek reality, perfection, subtlety and intellectual intensity.
It’s May 11th, 2019. I’m 56 now and I’ve literally played in dungeons and perfected my craft for 40
years.
I’m glad you wrote about my Dom Com look….that was for the Legends panel, which, I’m happy to say I enjoyed ruling that day…..thanks again, I couldn’t resist writing back!
Dear Mistress Stephanie Locke – It’s wonderful to hear from you! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment and for sharing some of the background to your work. As I said in the post, your images had a big effect on me, although I had no idea at the time where they were from or who you were. You absolutely achieved goals of seeking reality, intensity and subtlety in your work, and it was all those aspects that spoke to me as a young budding kinkster. You obviously invested a lot of time and effort in you career over the years. A legend indeed 🙂
Thanks again for stopping by to comment.

Watching the session film STEPHANIES PLAYTHINHS-KYRIE, I have to admit, that was quite a beating and biting. Slowing the film down showed a lot more than I expected. May be the photographer didn’t take the entire event. I still would like to know little Kyries thoughts.
