Question for any of my fellow bloggers out there – have you noticed a big drop in traffic to your site in the last few days? Mine looks like it has almost halved, which is an amazing drop. I’ve never seen anything like it in almost a decade. From this post it does look like Google rolled out a major update, but nothing described there seems to align with this kind of site. I wonder if Google is secretly taking yet another whack at penalizing adult sites?
For everyone else with no interest in search engine metrics, here’s a very hot throat grabbing picture. I don’t know the source for this, but I do love their expressions.
I haven’t had any problems accessing sites where I’ve got the address saved in favorites, like yours, but I tried searching for fem-dom stuff and it did appear that less options than expected turned up. Whether this is a deliberate policy or just an accidental effect of the update I have no idea.
Thanks for the information. Google does have a habit of making hidden changes, resulting in everyone scrabbling around trying to work out exactly what they did.
On one hand it doesn’t matter to me like it does to a commercial site. It’s obviously not hitting my pocketbook. But it is annoying. If I wanted to write for just myself, it’d be a lot easier just to have a diary!
Google’s frontpage of Femdom results is pretty terrible. They really don’t try and do anything good for adult queries.
