Congratulations everyone who guessed that the previous post was from a fashion source. Specifically, it was from this fashion editorial in Paper magazine.
Commenters Wolf and Simon correctly identified the slightly bored looking chap as a giveaway. Attractive models starting vacantly into the distance are a common element of fashion shots for some reason. Prefectdt also pointed out the setting was pretty fancy for a fetish shot. That’s very true, although I have occasionally seen European dommes shoot in fancy hotel rooms.
Here’s your next image to guess. Fashion or Fetish?
This one’s harder but I’m going fashion again, it’s just a little too contrived to be fetish in my opinion.
I’m going to say fetish.
The woman’s face seems very beautiful, and argues for fashion, but it’s not well displayed. Her clothes aren’t nearly as interesting as the clothes in yesterday’s picture. The prominence of her tattoo makes me think it’s fetish as well. The man’s face is hidden, and while he’s better looking than I am, I don’t know if he’s attractive enough to be in a fashion shoot. Also, they usually don’t hide men’s faces in fashion shoots. Finally, big parts of the frame are virtually empty, and not contributing to the image.
All of that makes me sound more certain than I am, though.
Fetish. The guy is wearing a hood, the woman has a leg tatt. Oh, and the lamp plug is visible.
I am fairly sure that is the extraordinary Mistress Vivienne Veinne, who does indeed have fashion model looks and poise, combined with a wicked smile and a still more wicked creativity.
She is a professional dominatrix (and a brilliant one). Of course, that’s not to say that she couldn’t do a fashion shoot as well, just as brilliantly.
Best wishes
S
Fetish.
His clothes are too messed up for fashion, and the foot on him is a little too fetish-y for fashion. If it were fashion, they’d create more of a full setting, I think.
