Butterfly Boarding – Feb 2011

I need to make it clear from the start that all the hard work here, both the needlework and taking the photographs, was done by Lady Lydia of Seattle. I just had to sit there for 2 hours and soak it in.

We did the scene using her St. George’s chair, which initially was a bit of a surprise to me. I was expecting to do the scene lying down, with the board on my stomach. However, Lydia thought the scene would work better if I could see her directly in front of me, and look down on what she was doing, rather than staring up at the ceiling. As usual she was completely right, and being allowed to watch her work and to make eye contact really helped to get me into sub-space. Of course the downside, at least from my perspective, was that the weight of the board hung from my cock, and getting erect meant lifting the board via the needles! There was no support for the board at all, other than when Lydia held it while inserting more needles. That gave an interesting dynamic aspect to the pain, causing different needles to pull and tug as the board moved around.

Here’s a shot from the side, about half-way through the scene. I wasn’t counting needles at the time, focused as I was on other matters, but I believe there’s 17 on one side here. So that’s around 34 in total. Note, should you wish a closer view (!) you can click on the images to enlarge them.

Butterfly Boarding 1Here’s a shot from underneath, with the needles going the other way and pinning the scrotum in place.

Butterfly Boarding 2Lydia decided that my nipples were looking a little left out and should join the party. She inserted these needles quite deeply, which counter-intuitively makes the nerves on the tip of the nipple much more sensitive. Having those pinched and pulled in this situation was a big sensory overload.

Butterfly Boarding 3Here’s a shot with all the needles in place. I’m not sure of the final number, probably around 46 or so.  Putting the needles in place down the shaft is quite intense from a psychological perspective, but doesn’t actually hurt as much as you’d think it might. However, the final few in the head of the cock, the two yellow and six blue needles behind them in this shot, really do hurt as they go in. Luckily they were done at the end, when I was already awash with endorphins and adrenalin.

Butterfly Boarding 4Of course simply sticking needles in delicate places is only step one as far as Lydia is concerned. After she moved onto slapping, rubbing and pinching, things got a little more bloody. I think a comparison to Chorizo sausage might have come up at some point during this stage of the proceedings.

Butterfly Boarding 5Finally, we get to the piece of artwork produced by all this fun and games. Something in the style of Andres Serrano. Although it’s unlikely we’ll be hanging this in a gallery anytime soon.

Butterfly Boarding 6Overall, it was a fantastic session, one of the best I’ve ever done. And that’s high praise, given how many amazing sessions I’ve had with Lydia. If you like playing with needles, I’d definitely recommend giving butterfly boarding a go. And if you’re ever in Seattle and want to give this kind of scene a shot, then I’m sure Lydia would be very happy to oblige.

  1. If this website is still in effect iIwondered what kind of board was used and how was it sterilized. Thanks!

    1. It was a dense foam board. Not sure exactly what, but it wasn’t particularly heavy and just dense enough to grip the needles. Obviously it was new and we just wiped it down with antiseptic wipes prior to playing.
