Yesterday’s post got a couple of follow-up comments on the snarling sexiness that was Julie Newmar’s Catwoman. lovetosubmit commented about her taunting Batman when she had him in a compromising position, and that certainly struck a chord with me. As a youngster I can remember being transfixed by scenes of her tieing up Batman, long before I knew what femdom, kink or even sex was. So for all the other fans out there of Ms Newmar’s catty glory, here’s her another shot of her, this time taunting the helpless Adam West.

I’m kind of surprised by Emma Peel. I’d have thought that for British guys she’d be a big deal, but didn’t realize the show was well known over here. Although they made a movie of it a few years back, so I guess that should have told me something.

It was a smash in the mid-60s. I was absolutely entranced by Rigg’s leather suits and boots. And, of course, take-charge, man-beating character.
In fact, it was, I believe, that popularity here that got her the female lead in 1968’s Hospital opposite George C. Scott. Still a good view.

Still never been bettered as a Fem Dom comic strip icon. Julie Newmar’s entrance in her first epsiode, ‘the Purrfect crime’ always turns me to jelly. A cat o nine tails lashes across her minion’s hand for daring to touch her stolen loot. He is told they are their to follow her orders or will get more of the same.

Catwoman’s entrance is at around the 6:50 mark and, as suggested, it is a great one.
