The initial negotiation for this scene was short and sweet. A few days beforehand I said “Why don’t we try some suturing?” and Lydia said “Sure!” That meant that going into the scene, as is usually the case, I didn’t exactly know what to expect. Suturing would show up somewhere, but the rest would be left to Lydia’s deviously creative imagination.
She started off with a cutting needle, which was a new experience for me. In the past we’d just used hypodermic needles and passed the surgical thread through them while they were in place. A cutting needle is what’s normally used for suturing wounds and creates (in my experience) a more intense and painful sensation. It’s curved, with the surgical thread attached at one end and a point with a cutting edge on the other. This illustration shows the general idea. When a hypodermic needle is used there’s pain on the entry and exit, but not much as it slides in. With the cutting needle it pretty much hurts the whole way through, much to Lydia’s delight.
Her plan was to create a harness around my torso, using the surgical thread to tie some thicker lengths of cord onto my skin. She’d twist the cutting needle through, position the cord and then tie off the surgical suture. The two images below show close-ups of the sutures in place (click images to enlarge).
While the harness may not have lasted as I’d have liked, my memories of the session will certainly remain with me for a long time to come. It wasn’t as intense as some we’ve done, and I didn’t deeply zone out into sub-space, but it had a beautiful rhythm to it. There’s something very satisfying about lying back while someone decorates your body. It’s almost ritualistic, a very positive type of objectification. As a person I was simultaneously the center of attention and yet also unimportant next to the process itself.
My thanks go out again to Lady Lydia for yet another wonderful session. I remain in awe at her ability to craft memorable and deeply involving sessions every time we play together.
Hi paltego,
Lady Lydia has seriously caught my attention. The real deal. I’m impressed with both of you.
Best,

Hey scott,
No need to be impressed with me. I just have to remember to turn up on time. After that it’s simply a case of doing what I’m told š
Lydia, on the other hand, is very much a superstar.
