Fun furniture for fornication

Neither of these images is really female domination. They’re just cool pieces of BDSM furniture. However, feel free to imagine a corseted woman waving a whip around just off camera if it’ll help. Put her in leather and thigh high boots if you prefer. Go wild.

The first is a sleigh bed by Walsh Metalworks, Words can’t express my lust for this particular piece of equipment. It’s a very cool design and, despite all the interesting and exciting furniture found in most pro-dommes dungeons, I’ve had some of my best experiences bound on a bed. Often furniture can be a big part of a scene, creating interesting positions for bondage and torture, but the very simplicity and familiarity of a bed can be a huge asset. It allows the focus to remain on the participants in the scene, rather than the equipment and toys they’re using.

I’m afraid I’ve no background for the second shot. It’s a fun cage, with an interesting stocks like top section. In contrast to the bed, I have to image that this would be a very intense and stressful piece of equipment to use. I’ve no idea why, but I find that kind of opaque separation of head from body when combined with bondage creates quite a strong psychological effect.

A delightfully wrapped package

After yesterday’s rather tetchy post and extreme image, here’s something a little lighter. The rope bondage looks pretty but also seems effective. I like to imagine the dominant is about to lean in and bite some tender and enticing patch of exposed flesh.

Screw the roses

I really hate Valentines Day. This is not because I’m a miserable curmudgeon (that’s just a coincidence), and I certainly don’t dislike a romantic gesture at the right time. But Valentines Day is amateur hour. If you need a special day as a reminder to buy some flowers, or champagne or whatever tickles the fancy of your romantic significant other, then you probably have other issues to address. What’s particularly annoying from my personal perspective is the restaurant situation. They cram in extra tables, only offer a fixed menu and charge extra. Add in harried waitstaff and a lot of new customers who expect special treatment on their rare night out, and you’ve got a real zoo. I never go out on Valentines Day if I can avoid it, whatever my relationship status.

Unfortunately this week I’m traveling and solo. I’m therefore going to be forced into my starring role of bitter grumpy man in restaurant. This will be swiftly followed by my encore presentation of drunk grumpy man in restaurant. In the meantime I’ll leave you with the least romantic image I could find on my computer. I’m sorry about posting this image, I really am. It’s pretty fucked up.

It has been lurking on my hard drive for months now. I could never decide what to do with it. It’s a little like that bottle of viciously strong but heinous tasting liquor that gets left after a party. You can’t image any situation where you’d want to drink it, but also can’t quite bring yourself to throw it away. In this case, having just put up a post about guns and girls, I figured it was now or never. So here it is.

The reason I considered posting it at all was my odd reaction to it. It’s an image where my mental backstory makes a significant difference to how I perceive it. If I imagine that the gun is empty, and it’s all just a massive headtrip they’re running on the slave, then I think it’s a very hot image. The two women engrossed in each other, together with their extreme mental cruelty to the bound man, is arousing. Albeit in a twisted fucked up way (my favorite kind). On the other hand, if I imagine the gun is loaded, and he’s about to be shot in the head, then I hate it with a passion. That’s twisted at a level I just can’t get my head around. I can’t think of any other images that I’ve had such an extreme reaction to, based on how I project into them.

I believe the artist for this goes under the handle of Tink. His (or her) work has featured here in the past (this for example), but I’ve never tracked down any biographical information or a good hosting site for his/her images.

Guns, girls and sex

Jean-Luc Godard famously said that all you need for a movie is a gun and a girl. Of course he was making a broader point about the motive force of sex and violence (or potential violence), but in some sense the expression also used to have some literal truth. When I watch something from the 40’s or the 50’s, particularly film noir, there’s always a frisson of excitement and danger when those two things are combined. A woman pulling out a gun was often the pivotal moment in a film, even when it happened off camera. In modern movies that has been lost. Under the influence of video games, comic books and CGI, there’s an endless succession of big breasted girls wielding enormous firearms at the slightest provocation. It still can be fun, Trinity helping to trash the building lobby springs to mind, but the edge has gone.

Arguably that loss might be a good thing. A lot of the tension in those old movies comes from the fact that a woman wasn’t expected to wield a gun. So when she did it was a deviation from the norm, and always came at a moment of great tension. Movies allow equal opportunity murder and mayhem these days. On a personal level however, I do mourn the decline of the deadly femme fatale.

The first image below is one of the greatest femme fatale roles every committed to celluloid, Jane Greer as Kathie in Out of the Past. It’s a brilliant movie and she’s mesmerizing in it. I came across this image on this film noir tumblr. Slave domnei also blogged about it earlier this year.

The second image has a more vague provenience. I think it’s an actress called Naike Rivelli, but I’m not sure where I found it or what the context for the shot is. I just liked it for her expression and body language (and body). There’s definitely a suggestion of something nefarious going on. She’s just been caught doing something, or about to do something, and isn’t sure how you might react.

Oddly I find the first image actually pushes more of my internal buttons than the second. I’m not really sure why, but there’s something about that buttoned up sexuality that seems more dangerous, and hence more appealing.

Why so serious?

Just a short post tonight. I’m packing for a trip, and posting may be a little erratic over the coming week.

In the meantime I’ll leave you to ponder this picture and what exactly the young gentleman is so concerned about. Most men confronted by an attractive young lady taking her pants off would be somewhat enthralled. Clearly the evening is not unfolding as he was expecting. Perhaps he has a purity ring? I’m going to guess it might be about to get a little tarnished.

Grabbing the goodies

It’s sometimes interesting to follow the path of an image on tumblr. I’ve seen this one pop up repeatedly in different variations. I think it’s a great image. I love the way he’s restrained and yet open. She can tantalize him with a gentle kiss or squeeze her hand to inflict a little pain. As far as I can tell this is the original format format from elements studio (although I can’t find it on their site). Yet I’ve seen it in black and white, or with the logo surgically removed or in various cropped forms that alter the focus and overall composition. I’ve no idea why this particular image has been tweaked so often, as it works wonderfully as is.

A Sole Kiss

As a major change of pace from heavy whipping shots, here’s someone appreciating a freshly washed pair of feet. I’m personally not much of a foot guy, unless they happen to be kicking or trampling me, but this was unusual enough to catch my eye. It’s not often I get to feature an image of someone in a sari. They look like a couple having fun.

I originally found this on the femdom section in reddit. My internet detective skills, honed by many years of ~~tracking down porn~~ productively blogging, led me to the mainstream Indian movie 1940 Lo Oka Gramam from 2008. According to the plot synopsis they end up being declared outcasts and having their heads shaved for this happy frolicking on the sea shore. So a sad context to a happy looking shot.

All the more to aim at…

I thought I’d finish my short sequence of whip posts with these two beautiful images from Mistress Trish and thrash. She’s aiming at a particularly delicate target, and he’s giving her a pretty big bulls eye to go for.

Aside from the visual pleasure of the whip in motion, these shots caught my eye for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I like the way he’s leaning into the strike. He’s helping her to hurt him, which I think is always hot. I also like their expressions. Hers is gleeful and happy. She’s clearly concentrating on what she’s doing, but taking the time to enjoy it. In contrast he looks very inwardly focused, concentrating on his sense of self. I suspect it feels like time is running at a very different pace for the two of them.

Beautiful red lines

While I’m on a whipping theme, here’s an ‘after’ shot courtesy of Mistress Simone Kross (on the left). The whips aren’t quite as fearsome as the one from yesterday, but they certainly seem to have done an effective job on this slave.

I love having marks like this. I’ll inspect them immediately after a session, and then every morning and night as I’m changing. There’s something very satisfying about them, particularly if they raise the skin and I can actually run my hand across the surface to feel them. Partly it’s the reminder they give me of the session. The intensity of that moment. Partly it’s a sense of pride. I took it all without quitting. But mostly I think it’s the sense of connection. They’re the marks the dominant chose to give me. It’s a very personal gift and I’m always sad when they fade.
