Classroom Spanking

In one sense this a very old school (pardon the pun) spanking image. There’s a classroom setting, a strict teacher and a strap being deployed at speed. However, the spankee doesn’t look like your average school girl. And her skin tight dress is certainly not the type of thing employed as a school uniform (sadly). Perhaps this is the headmistress disciplining one of the teachers for getting a little too familiar with her pupils?

Women and porn

I think as blog post titles go, that’s got to rate as a pretty brave one. Half the world’s population and one of its most popular and controversial subjects, all covered in one post. Fortunately for any readers out there, I’m not going to venture many of my thoughts. Instead I’m going to link to a couple of articles I stumbled upon within a few hours of each other this evening. I should also point out this post is not related to female domination at all. If you’re looking for a post on that, then be patient and I’m sure one will be turning up very shortly. This is just me pointing towards a couple of articles on sex, women and pornography that I thought were intriguing to compare and contrast.

The first one is from the British paper the guardian, and is about women and pornography addiction. It annoyed the hell out of me. It’s a typical sex negative article, packed with underlying assumptions about pornography and the people who create and use it. The writer even manages to imply that masturbating to pornography is comparable to a heroin habit. Obviously any addictive behavior that negatively impacts your normal life is a bad things, but the clear agenda of this articles author tainted the entire piece.

The second one is from Miss Maggie Mayhem, a writer and porn performer, and describes how she found herself masturbating to Penn Jilette (of Penn and Teller fame). I was still grumpy from the porn addiction article when I read this, and it managed to cheer me up and put a big smile on my face. The positive, happy and unapologetic way she discussed her sexuality and pornography was a welcome breath of fresh air after the previous rubbish I’d read. It’s a long article, but well worth reading in my opinion.

I live so much of my virtual life on the Internet at sites that are kink and sex positive, that it’s sometimes easy to forget how many negative viewpoints are out there. The communities I inhabit consider a controversial topic to be if incorporating excrement into a scene is a safe or sane thing to do. Or what are sensible limits to adhere to when experimenting with breathplay. I try to imagine those topics being addressed in and coherent thoughtful manner by a mainstream publication and my brain starts threatening to explode. There’s a lot of ‘fertilizer feminism’ out there as Maggie amusingly puts it, and I’m grateful to her, and women like her, for speaking up with their alternative point of view.

And with that, I declare this minor deviation from the regular programming at an end. Normal femdom service will be resumed forthwith.

Oxygen is an optional extra

I like to think this image was taken just a few seconds before she slid back a couple more inches and smothered him completely. He looks to be pretty firmly fixed in place. Arms outstretched and held with straps. What looks to be some sort of plastic wrap around his legs. And I think there’s a ball gag in his mouth. I found this image on ‘The diary of a male sub‘ tumblr site. The owner does a nice job of modifying images to keep a consistent theme to his blog, but as usual all attribution tends to get lost in the process, so I’ve no idea of the original source.

Suck it

I debated about posting this particular image for quite a while. TS women seem to provoke a fairly strong reaction in some people, and I’m not referring to the good type of reaction. I’ve been surprised in the past by the hostility I’ve seen displayed from kinky subs on forums and message boards towards the idea or existence of TS dommes. However, after considering the relative pro’s and con’s, I came up with what I thought was a decisive argument. Namely – “Goddamn it, this is my blog, I like it, I’ll post what I like.”

I have to admit I was also prompted to post it from a comment by Orlando on his 333images tumblr blog, where he claimed a lot of the models in TS porn were being exploited in a particularly twisted way. I normally enjoy his images and comments, but this one bugged me slightly. Alarms bells always go off for me whenever I hear someone outside a particular group claim exploitation on behalf of that group. And I think it’s particularly difficult to make a claim of exploitation when you’re talking about consenting adults voluntarily choosing to be paid to perform safe (albeit sexual) activities. Which isn’t to diminish the problems or obstacles TS people face. But I think it cheapens and devalues the real sexual exploitation that’s out there (trafficked women, third world sex tourism, etc.) if you employ the term widely and carelessly.

Needles and Thread

This is one of those infrequent posts where I bring you a little bit of original content courtesy of myself and the amazing Lady Lydia. It’s not quite as extreme as the previous session I posted, but as the title suggests, it does involve needles and piercing. So anyone who is a little squeamish about that kind of thing might to not want to click through the link below.

In the week prior to the session I’d been on vacation and had managed fit in a little playtime with Miss Fenne Demore. That resulted in an enjoyable but fairly ‘light’ session – BDSM foreplay if you will. This is certainly no criticism of Miss Fenne. We didn’t know each other and weren’t playing in a space where we could really properly cut loose. But it did leave me hungry for a little more of an intense experience, and that’s something Lydia can always deliver. Bishop

Robert Bishop was one of the great BDSM illustrators. Through the 70’s and 80’s he produced a large number of pen and ink drawings, for both books and magazines, depicting all sorts of intricate and detailed bondage. The majority of his work depicts either lone female submissives or male dominants with female submissives, and hence I haven’t added him to my femdom artist page. His work never gives me the impression of a man who was really committed to the femdom dynamic. However, despite this, he did create a number of images with female dominants and I’ve picked what I think is a particularly good example for this post.

Sadly he committed suicide in 1991, depriving the world of a very talented individual. This image was taken from the collection of Bishop images I downloaded from usenet many years ago. Image fap has a lot of his drawings available, for example there are a large number of galleries here. The g.e-hentai also has a gallery of his work.

The gentle touch

There are a lot of things going on for the slave in the image below. He’s been strapped down and his hands immobilized in bondage mittens. There’s some sort of nipple clamp torture in place. He’s got a gas mask on, which is no doubt imposing some degree of sensory isolation. And of course there’s the erostek unit attached to the electrified cock bondage board. All in all, it looks like a pretty intense combination of sensations.

Despite all that, the aspect of the scene that caught my eye was Mistress Sidonia’s placement of her hand on his arm. It’s possible that this was a meaningless and purely transitory gesture that the photographer happened to catch. But I like to think it was a little more than that, and in fact shows a moment of connection between the two of them. I’m typically not someone who enjoys a cold icy dominant. The “Get on your knees and lick my heels you worthless dog” style of play can be fun occasionally. As a general rule however, I prefer someone who actually empathizes with the suffering, whilst still continuing to inflict or even increase it. The “Yes, I know it hurts, and I’m sorry but it’s only going to get worse from here” style of domination. A gentle comforting touch for just a few seconds as I ride the next wave of pain can really help push me deep into sub-space.

On an different note – has anyone played with the type of electrified cock bondage board show in the image below? I’m tempted to get one, but they’re not all that cheap, so I’d love to hear any feedback on them (either via comment or email).

Natasha Gornik

I’ve spent the last hour or so browsing the blog and portfolio of the photographer Natasha Gornik. She appears to be the photographer of choice for a lot of pro-dommes, particularly those based in New York. I recognized shots she’s done of Mona Rogers, Mistress Sade, Mistress Alex and Ms Oliva Black amongst others on her site. She’s created a beautiful collection of work, extending far beyond the boundaries of simple fetish and glamor shots.

The image below was taken from her blog, and it caught my eye for the many different layers of restriction it depicts. There’s what looks like a zentai style suit, a metal head cage with chain, a web of white rope, and finally a large solid metal cage. I’m not sure if that level of bondage would be either comforting or claustrophobic, but I do enjoy this shot of it all in place. The rope work was by Ms Yin Q of glint studios, and Natasha comments on the scene as follows…

for one scene, Yin had her subject in a cage and intricately tied him up with white rope. she did a beautiful job. it was very quiet in the room and you could hear the sound of the rope rubbing against itself and the floor. i’ve always found this process so cathartic. i would watch it often when i was shooting bondage videos. it usually takes a while, and it was nice to zone out and watch the domme make these beautiful designs and listen to the sounds of the rope. i wouldn’t even have the camera on, but i would stare through the viewfinder and just watch. it has a poetic-ness about it.

Name that toy

Today’s post brings you a fun guessing game that the whole family probably shouldn’t play. See if you can guess the function of the BDSM toy shown in the image below. Apologies for the lack of posts (or comment responses) in the last couple of days. I’m actually on vacation right now, and while I have managed to find time for some kinky play, I’ve been less successful on the blogging front. I fly back later today, so normally service should be resumed then.
