Be Careful What You Wish For

This problem page letter in the Guardian made me smile. It’s somewhat short on detail but, reading between the lines, I suspect the man concerned was looking for hot kinky sex involving bondage and exciting leather outfits. His wife obviously had other ideas. On being handed the metaphorical and possibly literal whip hand,  she decided that being in charge meant lots of nice massages and minimal amounts of sucking his dick. I feel bad that their kinky needs are obviously not aligned, but he probably shouldn’t be too surprised that his non-kinky wife’s idea of taking charge looked less like a pornhub video and more like a spa day.

I guess it could be worse for him. His wife might decide that what she really wants to do is spend an hour or two with the Sunday papers and a convenient footstool.

Bad Boyfriend! No!

This @redditships thread about a guy who sneakily drank the pee from his girlfriends pregnancy test is really quite something. Even speaking as a fan of watersports, I think that’s a definite yikes. Most of the comments seem to be fixed on the idea of it being a kink, but I’m not so sure. I think for most kinky people into piss play it’s the dynamic and the act that matter, not the liquid in isolation. So while it’s possible he’s acting out some deep seated kink in the worst way possible, maybe he just read and believed something stupid on the internet about how to test for pregnancy via pee tasting.

Submission Possible

Anyone who has run out of Netflix and Hulu shows to watch might want to check out ‘Submission Possible’ by Madison Young on Revry. I’ve not seen it, so can’t offer a personal recommendation, but according to Madison it’s “a kinky queer travel show…exploring different kink and queer communities in different cities.” You can read a bit more background on it articles here and here. This isn’t a great time to be pitching a travel show, but after endless food and chef themed travel series, it’d be nice to see a kinky variation.

The Parthenon Studio

I think one of the biggest challenges of the coronavirus for the kinky community is going to be keeping playspaces alive. Individuals have a flexibility that bricks and mortar doesn’t possess. With people either not playing at all, or being very wary of shared spaces, there’s a grave danger that we’ll emerge on the far side of this with no quality spaces left. That’d be a terrible loss. Rising real estate prices in the last decade have pushed a lot of great spaces out of existence. Let’s not let coronavirus finish the remaining ones off.

If you have the means to do so, I would therefore urge you to support fundraisers like this one for the Parthenon Studios in NYC.  I just chipped in £50 and it was a very easy and quick process. You can also do it anonymously. I played there with Empress Wu last year and I loved the chance to visit a space I’d heard so much about. The owner is Queen Ariana Chevalier, who is one of the great dommes of NYC. Donate to the fundraiser and you’ll be supporting a black female owned business that brings joy to a huge number of kinky people. What’s not to love about that?

Howl at the Moon

This NYTimes article on wolf-kink erotica and copyright battles is nothing to do with femdom, but too fun not to share. I love stumbling on these odd kinky niches that people are incredibly passionate about. It’s like exploring an ancient underground lake. There’s a small innocuous looking entrance hole on the surface but when you drop through there’s this huge complex space with all sorts of weird evolution happening in the depths.

I did search for wolf themed femdom images but, while it might be popular in the printed word, it’s not a major porn theme. Instead here’s the domesticated equivalent. I do like the fact she’s letting him crawl on the grass rather than the stony path. He must have been a good doggy.

Once again the image search engines have failed me on this one. I don’t recognize the domme or the location. If anyone can help me attribute it, feel free to leave a comment.

Regressing

I’m keeping the face covering theme going with this image, but taking it in a very different direction. That’s one way to stop someone breathing virus particles everywhere.

This image also made me realize how much I’m regressing in quarantine. The young and innocent me used to look at images like this and sigh, wondering what it would be like to be the man in this situation. In recent years I’ve been lucky enough to treat images like this as inspiration for future shenanigans. Now I’m back to sighing and longingly staring at the image. I miss a firm but gentle hand over my face.

This looks like something from a magazine fashion shoot, but I’ve failed to track down a source for it. If anyone has any suggestions on its origin, then please leave me a comment.

Hustle

One thing I’ve come to respect and admire in sex workers is their ability to hustle. I use that word in the most positive sense. Our legal, economic and political systems are slanted against them, but they constantly keep moving, looking for new ways to work around the system and run a profitable business. As someone with pretty much zero hustle, it’s something I greatly admire.

I’ve therefore been surprised by what seems (to me) like a missed opportunity with face masks. With everyone at home and not doing sessions, why hasn’t the market being flooded with used items of clothing being turned into face masks? After all, this is a group of people who have sold used panties, smelly socks, toenail clippings, bathwater and even their own poop. With the right panties you could probably make a pretty effective mask that wouldn’t immediately scream “I’m a colossal pervert” to everyone who saw it. Or just stitch something used and scented into the interior of an existing mask and sell that.

So far I’ve only come across only two examples in this niche. Servitor sent me a link to this tweet, which features an offer by Miss Paris to turn smell socks into a mask. The other example isn’t even a sex worker – it’s from NYC artist Hannah Bates – whose selling $950 masks made from her used panties.  The masks are priced at the average cost of an abortion, a procedure that GOP lawmakers use any excuse to try and limit, including the current pandemic.

Have I missed anyone else exploiting this niche? Used clothing, subtle exhibitionism and the risk of public humiliation aren’t my kinks, so I ask this purely on behalf of my readers.

Masks

It’s funny how fast social conventions can change when they’re pushed hard. When I first started seeing people wearing masks in response to the coronavirus I thought they were being excessively cautious. Now when I see someone without one in a grocery store or busy urban space I think they’re being a selfish asshole and trying to kill me. It makes me think of the George Carlin quote about driving “Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?”

Incredibly the US has somehow managed to suck masks into their endless culture wars. You’d think reducing the risk of death via a horrible virus would be relatively non-controversial, but apparently not. If only everyone looked as good in a mask as Mistress Alice does then I’m guessing it’d be a different story. This particular mask is a latex one from Rubber Dutch.
