I’ll finish my cuckold sequence of posts with some man on man action. This is actually fairly rare in cuckold porn in my experience. They often do shots of the submissive’s face close to where all the action is occurring (like yesterday’s post), but avoid any explicit forced-bi. I guess they think it’ll turn some guys off and limit their potential market. It’ll be interesting to see if that approach changes over time. Certainly the prevalence of forced-bi in erotic cuckold stories seems far higher than it does in movies, which indicates some potential demand for it.

Of course there are always exceptions. The Subby Hubby site seems to do more cuck on bull action than most, so might be worth checking out if that’s your thing. This image may be unusual for the type of action, but I’m happy to note it maintains the cuckold porn tradition of always having someone stare into the camera.

Double cuckold

I really could spend the next week or two posting amusing cuckold porn pictures. For the sake of the sanity of my readers, I’ll try to limit it to just a post or two.

This one is the rarely spotted double cuckold shot. There’s the standard hot lady with lots of makeup, the sad guy in badly fitting lingerie and the disembodied big black penis. However, as an added bonus, there’s a crazy wild eyed guy who staring at the camera while having his face mashed into her bottom. It’s really three classic expressions. There’s the porny come hither look, the sad panda look and then there’s the guy channeling the spirit of Igor/Eyegor from Young Frankenstein. At least they’re playing tribute to a classic.

Growth industry

While I’m talking about cuckolding (as I was), I’ll make an entirely anecdotal observations: It’s a rapidly growing area of porn. Based purely on my random browsing, I seem to be seeing a lot more of it. A decade ago it was rare, but now it pops up all over the place. At least all over the places I frequent, which are, admittedly, not your usual kind of places.

In many ways it seems the easiest kind of kinky porn to shoot. You don’t expensive outfits, specialist riggers, a dungeon full of toys or a submissive who can take a beating. It’s just a regular porn threesome, except with one of the participants pulling a funny expression and looking aghast at what’s going on. At the same time, it’s also one of the hardest types of scenes to pull off in real life. Persuading a life partner to indulge in a little bondage or spanking is one thing, but it’s quite something to bring a third into a relationship. Similarly, it’s easy to set-up a regular BDSM session with a pro-domme, but very few of them offer a genuine cuckold type experience.

Of course, when it comes to a genuine cuckold experience, the porn productions aren’t much better. They do however have some of the most amusing porn images. This image is a classic of the type. The cuckold is doing something completely ridiculous, the hot blonde is wearing heels and staring at the camera and the black bull is reduced to a disembodied big penis. That’s most cuckolding porn in a nutshell.

The cuckolding question

There’s an interesting post and set of follow-up comments on the subject of cuckolding over at the Not Just Bitchy blog. It’s a thread that’s well worth reading if you’re at all interested in the topic.

I may put up some thoughts of my own in a later post, but in the meantime let me address one burning issue that Stabbity and friends are sadly neglecting: What is it with facial expressions in cuckold porn? Strange expressions in porn are nothing new, but they seem particularly bad in the cuckold genre. There’s always a smug bull and an aghast cuckold, along with a female porn star playing the role like every other sex scene that she’s ever done. The example below is a good case in point. For further proof see this and this. They make me laugh, but that’s probably not the intended effect. Can kinky film producers not chip in for a few acting lessons for their cuckold stars?

A cuckold at Christmas

This is a still from a Divine Bitches shoot entitled Cuckold Christmas. The lucky hubby has just received a CB-6000 device as a special Christmas gift, and his wife is enjoying tying and teasing him with it in place. After which she locks him into their prison cell under the stairs. I have to say that this plot development did give me a small problem with my suspension of disbelief. It seems an odd order of events to buy him his first chastity device after you’ve already fitted your living room out with a prison cell. Maybe he was stuck in the Christmas rush for an age and she had both time and power tools on her hands? Of course once he’s safely locked up, her boyfriend turns up for a festive fuck, leaving him with another gift to enjoy.

Plot mockery aside, I do like the images from this scene (although he needs to lose the socks). Jealousy and humiliation don’t do much for me in the cuckold dynamic, but I love the idea of tease and denial. The contrast of extreme pleasure with horrible frustration is an intriguing one. But while I think the images are good, the plot description on Divine Bitches is awful. This seems to be a common trait of a lot of kink sites. I’m not sure if they’re trying to cram as many porn-y search phrases as possible into the text, or this kind of description actually works to sell the material. Either way it’d make me keener to buy their movies if they weren’t all described by the porn-o-tron 2000 auto caption generator.

Perverting perversity

I thought this was an interesting article on the history of the word pervert. Apparently it started off as a word to describe an atheist. It wasn’t till the end of the 19th Century that it became associated with sexual depravity. Prior to that unconventional sexual acts were simply seen as a sign of moral degeneracy and decadence. It was the early sexologists who created the idea of sexual desire being an orientation and re-purposed perversion (‘turning away from the right course’) to describe people who fitted into that group.

The really shocking thing about this is that it means the highly historically accurate Blackadder II, set in 16th Century Elizabethan England, used the word incorrectly for the character of the baby eating bishop of Bath and Wells.

It’s currently on NetFlix streaming, although I’d recommend skipping the first season and sticking to seasons 2, 3 and 4.

As for an image I wanted something featuring a whole heap of perversity, and the one below seemed to fit the bill. There’s bondage, cross-dressing, cuckolding, homosexuality and butt plugs. All sorts of good stuff.

Perspectives on cuckolding

Dan Savage recently published an interesting series of letters on cuckolding. They were all from people who were either involved in it or fantasizing about it. The first featured a woman justifiably frustrated at her husband continually forcing the fantasy into their love life. The second features a man’s perspective on the fantasy. Finally, a series of four letters from women details both their good and bad experiences with it.

It’s not a topic I talk much about on this blog. It strikes me as a very contextual activity that’s hard to address in the abstract. The tease and denial aspect of it seem very hot to me. The potential contrast between their pleasure and my frustration is certainly a button pusher. However, I find it hard to relate to the emotional components, and that seems to be a key part for most cuckold couples.

Purely on the basis of a risk/reward calculation, it does seem to be one of the more dangerous kinky things to dabble in. Most activities can be tried without risking major fallout. Experimenting to see if you both like floggers or rope bondage is unlikely to decimate the landscape of a relationship. Cuckolding is more of a nuclear option. Great if it works, but you’ll be cleaning the mess up for years if it doesn’t.

After the fact

Here’s a nice brace of shots to pair with yesterday’s post. That showed the build up to a cuckold scene. This shows what I assume is the aftermath to one. I guess it could be his own cum she’s about to feed him, but I suspect not.

Incidentally, these plug style gags seem to be very popular in Japanese BDSM porn, but rare in the Western equivalent. I’m not really sure why that is, as they look pretty sexy. All the benefits of a ring style gag, without the risk of it rotating in the mouth. Plus, the insertable plug adds a nice touch of objectification.

The complexity of cuckolding

I’ve never been involved in cuckolding. I’m not sure I ever will be. But I do find it a fascinating topic.

I think part of that fascination is to do with the different ways it can manifest itself. Just looking at my blogroll demonstrates that. I apologize in advance if I mischaracterize anyone here, but I think it’s very clear there are quite distinct approaches described. Vanessa seems to have one of the more traditional approaches. She goes out and fucks guys, and enjoys rubbing it in her husbands face (quite literally). Scott and Em also play with the humiliation angle, but the action often involves Scott as well, even if that just means he’s present in the room. It’s more of a pair plus one, rather than two distinct pairs featuring a single female. Then there’s Suzanne, whose relationship seems to be more of a trio, with her sissy husband playing a very intimate role in her sexual couplings. And of course there are those bloggers like Axe who personally dislike the general idea of cuckolding.

As someone who doesn’t kink on emotional masochism or humiliation I tend to side with Axe’s point of view. I certainly get the activity at an intellectual level, but it doesn’t typically push my buttons sexually. However, it’s such a complex dynamic that I find it hard to say for sure. For example, I can imagine a tease and denial type cuckold play that could be very hot. That wouldn’t be a type of rejection or humilation, but simply temporary denial and sadism via sexual frustration. After all, a lot of submissives kink on chastity, orgasm control and very obvious female pleasure. Of course for that style of play, you have to almost completely set aside the emotional aspects of it, which for others is exactly the appeal. As I said, it’s a complicated topic.

When the going gets weird…

Weirdness often seems to occur at the intersection between the ordinary and the extraordinary. For example, while BDSM dungeons are unusual places, I don’t find them weird at all. Everything is in a common context. However, discovering one of my distinguished elderly aunts sipping a cup of tea while browsing a collection of nipple clamps in a dungeon, now that’d be weird. And possibly therapy inducing.

Pornography is a similar story. I can look at a picture of a bound man sucking a half naked transsexual and just think it’s a hot visual. Yet, occasionally there will be some weird juxtaposition of elements in a scene that turn it into WTF moment. Take the shot below for example. It’s not the dog hood alone that makes it weird. It’s the nonchalant way he’s wearing it, relaxing on the living room couch in his weekend casuals. Exactly what’s the role play here? I think if he was naked and leashed on the floor, in a bizarre way, it’d be a lot more normal a scene.
