Toshio Saeki

Continuing the theme of Japanese artists, this emotive scene is by the illustrator Toshio Saeki. I say emotive, as I can’t imagine it provoking a neutral reaction. There’s a lot going on and any number of scenarios and dynamics that the viewer can project into it. It really works for me, but YMMV.

I’ve featured Toshio Saeki in a past post, but I think it was lost in the big blog blow up from a couple of years ago. His work is kinky, explicit and often extreme. Sadly, only a small fraction is femdom.

Hindsight

Apologies in advance. This is going to be a self-indulgent ramble.

Writing my last post got me thinking about my interests as a child. As I mentioned there, when I was very young I liked model villages and dioramas. I remember how much fun I had building shoebox sized miniature gardens for competitions in the local village fête. When I got older – maybe 10 or so – I was really into creating my own board games. I used to make the boards and pieces and spend ages coming up with complex rules and figuring how they should all work together. As a teenager I loved computers and writing my own videogames. I learnt Basic and 6502 assembly and spent hours creating self-contained worlds full of sprites I’d plotted across many sheets of graph paper.

In hindsight there’s a common element to all these interests – control. Well OK, they’re also all nerdy and solitary activities. But control is the bit that’s relevant to this blog. I was the God of the miniature environments I created. Board games might involve other players, but they all had to adopt a defined role and follow the rules I laid down. With a computer – particularly the 8 bit ones of that era – I controlled everything they did. The game world would look and sound just as I made it. They were the ultimate rule followers.

I guess it’s therefore not too surprising that I grew into an adult that has major kinks around control. I never really made the connection before, but that underlying desire to control or be controlled was clearly manifesting in my childhood interests as much as it does in my sexual ones today.

Bondage is a kink closely associated with control and was the first kinky thing I can remember fantasizing about. Even when I didn’t know what kink or bondage really was.

This artwork is (I believe) by Junji Ito, a Japanese manga artist.

Chamber Pot

Here’s an unusual image for its time. Whipping and other forms of corporal punishment is pretty common in vintage shots. Bondage occasionally pops up, as do feet and boot fetishes. But I can’t remember seeing a watersport or toilet play vintage shot before. It must have been a particularly shocking image for its time. It still packs a punch even now.

I’m guessing it was taken in Europe in the early 1930’s, but I don’t have a specific attribution. I sourced it via Madam Is All.

More Manipulation

After a fun weekend in Vegas I’m heading for home. I once again visited the city of sin and didn’t do any sinning. Must be getting old. I did go and see the U2 show at the Sphere which was pretty amazing. I think it’s a space that’s going to set a new standard for concert venues.

For the image in today’s post I’m continuing  the theme of photoshop and image manipulation. I’m not sure of the original image source (it shows up in a bunch of equestrian themed pinterests) but I think the man has been added after the fact. I sourced this version via the Brutal Women tumblr.

Mysterious Ways

Apologies for the gap in posting. I’m traveling and that’s been messing with my schedule.

If I’m honest, I’m feeling a little maudlin tonight. I normally enjoy dining in restaurants alone. Being brought food and wine while I read a book is my non-kinky happy place. Seeing groups or couples having fun never bothers me. What makes me sad is couples who have nothing to say to each other. There was a beautiful and elegant woman who sat across the room from me tonight and totally pinged my domme-dar. She was with an older man, who barely said a word to her through a 2hr+ meal. I’d like to think she was a sex worker making serious bank for the hours they were there. But probably not. Life’s far too short to spend time with people who don’t spark joy.

This is by the Scottish painter Jack Vettriano.

The New Voight-Kampff Test

Ridley Scott’s may have produced a masterpiece of sci-fi in his movie Blade Runner, but he did get one thing very wrong – The Voight-Kampff Test. That was the test used to distinguish humans from the movie’s AI replicants. He imagined a series of questions designed to provoke an emotional response where, as we all know now, he should have just asked them to draw a pair of hands. AI might take just a few seconds to write an essay, beat a chess grandmaster and run a scam mimicking your grandmother, but it still seems to struggling to figure out fingers.

Here’s a good couple of examples from the Femdom realm. In the first one she appears to have two fingernails on her pinkie and his hand has been chopped off and dropped somewhere behind her. In the second her finger is merging into the phone. Its also unclear where her right leg is. Somebody needs to send these AIs to Anatomy 101.

I’m not sure who (or what) originally created these. I sourced them via Madam Is All.

Alexandra Aderhold

After last post’s old school domination theme, we’re moving onto new school kink and fetish. This image is by German photographer Alexandra Aderhold. It’s a stunning shot, pulling off the trick of being both aesthetically and erotically charged. I want to be in it and yet also have it hanging on my wall.

You can see more from Alexandra, including a book of photographs she’s published, on her professional site. There’s also an interview with her available here. I originally stumbled across the image via labstrakts.

Hanging Around

Some visual loveliness for the weekend. This is Angelina Pirtskhalava-Petrenko & Alexander Petrenko as photographed by Alena Rozbytska for Anoeses. They’re a Ukrainian based brand with some very sexy BDSM outfits and fetishwear. Given the current situation in Ukraine I’m sure they’d appreciate any orders we could send there way.

I sourced this via the labstrakts tumblr. It’s a great source for femdom shots in mainstream (or close to it) media.

Wise Words

@heavy, a very experienced bondage bottom, has some wise words on anchoring body parts.

Friendly reminder that when doing bondage, please remember what is anchored. If someone is standing or even kneeling and passes out/ falls and their balls, neck, hair, etc. are locked to something you are seriously going to harm someone. Potentially permanently.

I’d guess a lot of my readers are likely to be bondage bottoms rather than tops, but you should still be aware of what’s going on and willing to speak up if it looks unsafe. After all, it’ll be your delicate bits getting ripped off if the worst happens.

I remember doing a scene many years ago in a sex swing. I was on my back and the domme was tying various bits of me to the surrounding metal frame. However, the swing was a lightweight portable affair, built out of the kind of thin metal tubing you’d expect in a cheap sun lounger. The joints all seemed loosely pushed together, held with friction and I could feel it flexing as I moved. At one point the domme wrapped thin rope around my testicles and tied them to the overhead frame. Looking back now I shudder when I think of it, but at the time I was inexperienced, floating in subspace and nervous about topping from the bottom. So even though it felt dangerous, I didn’t say anything.

These days, if the same thing happened again, I’d speak up and pause the scene. If the swing had broken and I’d fallen then it could have been a very nasty situation. I’m a CBT fan, but getting my nuts ripped off by bondage on a shoddy sex swing is one of my limits. I should also add that the domme in question isn’t someone I’ve written about here or done more scenes with.

I’ll finish with a gorgeous bondage shot featuring Heavy and NYC domme Roxanne Waters, as shot by Natasha Gornick. All experts in their field, you can be sure any scene with them will be managed safely.

You can find Heavy’s twitter feed here and his professional HeavyBondage4Life site here. Roxanne Water’s twitter is here and this is her professional site.
