Formative Images

Servitor at his ‘Contemplating the divine‘ blog recently ran a greatest hits post, where he reposted some of his favourite captioned images. In it he mentioned the important role Cruella had played in his sexual development and gave examples of some of favourite Cruella photographs. I share his feelings about the importance of the magazine during my earlier years, and his comment sent me scurrying back through my archives to see if I could track down any of the key images that I remembered.

It’s notable that after 15+ years I can still clearly remember dozens of great individual Cruella images. I don’t think there are any other image creators I can say that about. In the case of the image I’ve selected below I can remember first downloading it (I’m not sure if it was ever in their magazine) and being transfixed by it. I had no idea why, injections were certainly not something I fetishized, but it gripped me all the same. There’s just something about her expression, her stance and that needle that makes it work for me. It’s an image I’ve seen many times over the years, and it still gives me a shiver when I look at it.

Needles and Thread

This is one of those infrequent posts where I bring you a little bit of original content courtesy of myself and the amazing Lady Lydia. It’s not quite as extreme as the previous session I posted, but as the title suggests, it does involve needles and piercing. So anyone who is a little squeamish about that kind of thing might to not want to click through the link below.

In the week prior to the session I’d been on vacation and had managed fit in a little playtime with Miss Fenne Demore. That resulted in an enjoyable but fairly ‘light’ session – BDSM foreplay if you will. This is certainly no criticism of Miss Fenne. Having recently posted about the parasitical nature of this site, I now find myself in the happy position of being able to contradict myself and share some original content.

However, before doing so, I feel a number of warnings are necessary. Firstly, the content is taken from a fairly intense session I did a couple of weeks back with Lady Lydia. Now with the warnings out the way, let’s move onto the session itself. I posted at the end of last year about butterfly boarding. It looked like a very interesting and intense approach to incorporating needles into a scene, and I was keen to try it. I was confident Lydia would be a wizard at it, and that proved to be absolutely correct. I think my reaction to needle play was one of the biggest surprises I had (out of many) when first getting involved in BDSM. It had zero appeal at a fantasy level, and was something I’d recoil from if I came across it in femdom porn. In reality it turned out to be an amazingly intense and enjoyable activity. Although I have to admit to almost fainting on my first attempt, so minus several masochist points there. Fortunately, I have got a little better since then.

I was actually in a similar position to this gentleman a week or so ago, but instead of an arch across the chest, the mistress (Lady Lydia in my case) placed pairs of needles at the top of each arm, my hips, my shins and the edge of my hands. She then zigzagged cord back and forth between them under the table, anchoring me in place with some deliciously painful predicament bondage. I was completely unaware of this particular needle play technique until a few days ago, when I stumbled across a post on it via Mistress Sade’s blog. It instantly leapt high on my ‘to do’ list for 2011. It looks like it would be very intense.

For anyone as in the dark as I was, the photograph below should give you a pretty good idea of what happens. This particular image was taken from Domina Yuki’s site and, as you can see, she’s pulled the cock and balls through a board and then pinned it down with a large number of needles.

If you’re interested in more detail on exactly how it’s done, then the images from Mistress Sade’s blog post (entirely unrelated to the shot below) are considerably more graphic. I really advise you not to look if close-up images of needles and penis piercing is likely to disturb you. That said – the original blog post is here. I found the sequence of shots quite remarkable, both from the obvious skill in execution and the beauty of the arrangement.

I always enjoy needle and piercing play. There’s a beautiful sense of rhythm to it. The pressure as the point slowly presses into the skin. The sharp stab of pain as it breaks the surface. And then the slow sliding sensation as it penetrates. Repeated needle after needle after needle.

There are a lot of places that are fun to pierce. But I’m pretty certain the eye isn’t one of them. I dont’ know where she was taught to do piercing, but she might want to go back and check her notes. And what’s with the smile on his face?

Personally, I always enjoy needle and piercing play. But it’d take a lot of trust and a lot of endorphins before anyone could stick that major piece of piping into me!
