Pony Fun

Fans of Pony Play might want to check out the stories of I. Binder, some of which are available on Gagged Utopia. The site seems broken in a bunch of places, but you can see a number of them listed under the PonyPlay tag here. For example, this, this, this and this. Looks like there’s also some on Amazon if you wish to purchase them.

I’m not sure it’d be a kink I’d want to indulge during an actual session. Too old and too many wonky back muscles for pulling people around. However, the fantasy is nice and the I. Binder stories are very well written. They got me interested in a kink that had never really clicked with me before.

I sourced this image from Madam is All tumblr. Reverse image searching didn’t give me any leads, but I believe that’s Mistress Trinity, an NYC based pro-domme.  I previously featured an image that looks to be from the same shoot here.

Properly Rested

Getting sick and sessioning (or not) reminded me of the time back in 2014 where I unsuccessfully tried to combine the two. The idea was to use the session high to carry me through the unpleasantness of whatever bug I had. That turned out not to be a good plan. You’ve only so much energy, so you can either power your immune system or your masochism, but not both.

It’s surprising just how much energy it takes to session. For most of mine I’m barely moving while the domme does all the work of poking, slapping, prodding, etc. Yet the stress and physical reactions still take a lot out of me. The nervous system and body are constantly being make to react and respond.

Most general guides to kinky play and pro-domme sessions will suggest ensuring that you’re properly rested, hydrated and fed. That can seem like boilerplate instructions, particularly when most activities seem low physical effort, but I think it can really make a difference to the post-session glow. Go in with low energy or low capacity and the subsequent crash can be hard.

Of course some sessions can be more exhausting than others. For example, if your domme turns up with a saddle in hand, it probably doesn’t matter how well rested you are. It’s going to be a long day.

Small Changes

What is it about putting cuffs in a slightly different place that makes them so much hotter? Ankle and wrist cuffs are great, but there’s something so much more exciting about thigh and calf cuffs like these. It’s a similar story with toe bondage. Toes are small and fiddly to tie up. Objectively less efficient for anchoring someone in place. Yet it’s a very hot type of bondage. Is it simply the rarity value? Or is it the care and attention to detail that non-standard bondage suggests?

Pony Patronage

At the start of the year I posted artwork from Michael Manning that was commissioned by @DrPonyBatBond, featuring him with Mistress Michelle Lacy. I mentioned at the time how happy it made me to see someone actually paying an artist to celebrate their kinks and relationships. What I hadn’t realized was that this was not a first. DrPonyBatBond reached out to me and mentioned that the Michael Manning illustration was just one of over sixty similarly themed pieces that he’s commissioned over the last few years!

If you’re interested in seeing more of the pieces and hearing the background to them from DrPonyBatBond and Mistress Michelle Lacy, then Dirk Hooper has an excellent article on them here. It features more of the art and interviews with the two featured subjects. They’re a nice example of how a professional relationship can, in some cases, be a rich and nuanced one.

There are so many fun illustrations in the article that it’s hard to pick a favorite to feature, but this one by Moon Eater did catch my eye. It has a nice blend of the playful and the serious.

Fetish Pony

Fans of fetish artwork will recognize the distinctive style here of Michael Manning. He’s the creator of well known series Tranceptor and The Spider Garden. What I particularly love about this specific piece is that it’s a commission by  @DrPonyBatBond, featuring him with Mistress Michelle Lacy. In a world where content creators have to fight to get paid for their work, and erotic content is constantly being stolen, it’s great to see someone commissioning original artwork from an artist they admire. The nature of the piece and the kinks involved also fit beautifully with the artists personal style, resulting in a very memorable image.

Cute Pony and Owner

I’m not personally a fan of participating in pony play. Being a pony often appears to involve hard physical work, and no part of that is sexy to me. I’d rather play the part of the lazy stable lad who gets whipped by the lady of the manor for not cleaning her boots properly. But I digress. I mention ponies because I stumbled across this image by The Smutty Rogue. It’s cute as hell, and has a fun playful energy to it. I believe its modeled on DrPonyBatBond and Mistress Michelle Lacy. It’s not going to convince me to pull on a pony hood, but femdom art like this is always appreciated.

Order of Indomitus

While I might not be into organized matriarchal societies crossed with femdom kinky fun (as discussed in yesterday’s post), I do recognize it as a button pushing fantasy for some. Probably the most well known example of it was the Other World Kingdom, more commonly known as OWK. Although it eventually closed down in 2008, it did run successfully for over a decade, attracting a wide variety of dommes and slaves over that period. This old post of mine has some interesting links on it for those curious about the background story. Mistress Troy of NYC has also posted some thoughts and articles on it.

Sadly for OWK fans there has never been an obvious successor with the same kind of scope and vision. However, some femdom organizations have tried to capture the spirit of OWK, with one of the most recent being The Order of Indomitus. Based on their FAQ and this article it seems like they’ve captured the outdoor play, multi-mistress and immersive femdom fantasy environment that OWK targeted.

Every woman brings something different to the event. 100% of your time is being spent in a non-stop femdom environment with a small undertone of fear, a bit of laughs, a certain amount of comfort, a certain amount of unknown, and depending on what turns you on, a dash to an over-dose of eroticism.

It’s not really my thing, but for anyone out there who really regrets never visiting OWK, it might well be worth checking out.

Pony puzzle

This is my last post on the pony boy theme. It’s also an image that slightly puzzles me. At a casual glance the style of the artwork looks like Shiniez. However, the lettering style and crude writing doesn’t seem like him. He also doesn’t tend to feature F/m dynamics. Every attribution I’ve seen for this image on random tumblrs claims that it’s his, yet I couldn’t locate it on his deviant art site. So either it’s someone copying his style, or an image of his that has been modified, or I’m mistaken and it’s really his work. If anyone can solve my puzzle, then feel free to leave a comment and help me out.

Pony Ride

A pony ride on a sandy beach used to be a traditional part of the British summer holiday for children. I don’t think the ponies ever looked anything like this however, The beaches probably weren’t as nice either.

If you hunt around for images of femdom and ponyboys you’ll find a lot of silly posed shots. This vintage shot is particularly bad, but representative of the type. The image below was one of the few I found that looked like she was genuinely going for a ride rather than simply posing for the camera. I also have to admire her ponies dedication. That full face hood must be incredibly hot.
